NORMAL, Ill. – Senior Redbird, Amanda Mohler heads to University of Alabama for the NCAA regional competition for balance beam on Saturday, April 2nd at 4 p.m. in Coleman Coliseum.
"Amanda is very excited about competing at the NCAA regional competition at the University of Alabama on Saturday," head coach Bob Conkling said.
Mohler shares, "After today's practice at the Alabama arena, I left in awe." She continues, "The facility is breathtaking and the teams that are here competing this weekend are extraordinarily talented."
Mohler stands with a career high of 9.9 on the balance beam, respectively. "There is going to be some incredible gymnastics that I can't wait to not only see, but compete against as well," Mohler said.
"She has trained hard these past 2 week and looks confident and solid with her beam routine," Conkling said. "She will be rotating with West Virginia and will compete in the 2nd rotation."
"I am just so incredibly grateful to be here and could not have asked for better support from my teammates and coaches these last couple weeks," Mohler said.
