A two-time All-Missouri Valley Conference selection ... earned first team All-Valley honors in 1987, after receiving second-team all-league honors in 1986 ... named Illinois State's most valuable player in both 1986 and 1987, after leading the Redbirds in both points and rebounds each season ... ranks No. 32 in ISU history for scoring with 1,088 career points ... as a senior, averaged 15.8 points and 8.1 rebounds per game, while shooting 51.6 percent from the field ... scored 73 points in a three-game run during the 1987 National Invitation Tournament (NIT) ... played on two NCAA teams at Illinois State and one NIT team ... the first overall draft pick in the 1987 Continental Basketball Association (CBA) Draft by the Quad City Thunder ... selected for the 12-member NIKE-NIT All-Star Team which toured Spain and France in the summer of 1987 ... played professionally in Australia for eight years before retiring in 1996.
