Four-year letterwinner for the Redbirds … ranks first in ISU history in career runs scored (207) and walks (166) and second in at-bats (812) and stolen bases (105) … batted .321 during his career and his 261 career hits rank third in the record books … career on-base percentage of .440 is fifth in ISU history, as are his 368 total bases accumulated … batted .300 as a senior with 57 hits and 37 RBI and posted a .991 fielding percentage … as a junior in 2011, was named an All-MVC Honorable Mention selection after collecting 58 hits, 47 runs scored and driving in 30 runs ...... amassed a .417 on-base percentage with a team-high 45 walks drawn … named the 2010 MVC Joe Carter Player of the Year, becoming the first player in school history to win that honor …  was also the State Farm MVC Tournament Most Valuable Player, leading the Redbirds to the tournament championship and an NCAA Tournament berth ... All-MVC First Team selection and State Farm MVC All-Tournament Team selection ... selected as a 2010 Ping! Baseball First Team All-American, ABCA/Rawlings Second Team All-American and  Louisville Slugger Third Team All-American ... also earned ABCA All-Midwest Region First Team honors ... set six ISU single-season records including most hits (84), runs scored (70), doubles (25) stolen bases (33), walks (53) and intentional walks (7) that season ... finished among the nation's leaders with a .538 on-base percentage (7th in the nation), an average of 1.32 runs scored per game (13th), 25 doubles (tied for 19th), 33 stolen bases (tied for 19th), 70 runs scored (tied for 37th) and a .412 batting average (tied for 36th) ... missed the majority of the 2009 season due to a wrist injury before receiving a medical hardship waiver … voted the 2008 MVC Freshman of the Year and was selected as a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American Honorable Mention Team  member ... ranked No. 21 in the nation in stolen bases and No. 16 in stolen bases per game (0.62) while starting all 52 games at shortstop ... tied for second on the team with a .303 batting average and led the team with a .308 average in conference play ... finished in the top-five among Valley freshmen in every offensive category.
