Sank the game-winner with eight seconds remaining against Alabama in the 1984 NCAA Tournament to give Illinois State its first ever NCAA Tournament win … a member of three-straight NCAA Tournament teams (1983, 1984 and 1985) … led the team in scoring his senior season (1984-85) with 17.5 points per game and rebounding with 7.0 boards per contest … a 1985 All-Valley Second Team selection … named honorable mention All-Valley in 1984 … scored 965 career points and grabbed 428 career rebounds … led the 1984-85 team in field goal percentage (.536) … named the team’s MVP following the 1984-85 season … tossed in 21 points against Oklahoma in the 1985 NCAA Tournament, which is the third-most points scored by a Redbird in an NCAA Tournament game … named the MVP of the 1985 American Savings Classic in Stockton, Calif., after the Redbirds defeated Texas A&M and San Diego to win the tournament title … named a Kodak honorable mention All-America selection in 1985 … drafted by Seattle in the fifth round (97th overall pick) of the 1984 NBA Draft … in 1983, invited to try out for the former Yugoslavia National Team in preparation for the 1984 Olympic Games … played professional basketball in Europe for five seasons.
