Led the Redbirds to the NCAA Mideast Regional and a 26-18 record in 1976 ... in the second game of the regional threw eight innings of one-run ball ... finished the 1976 season with a 7-1 record and a 1.66 earned run average... in 1977, Huber led the Redbird pitching staff with a 1.36 ERA and 66 strikeouts, before posting a 6-2 mark and a 3.28 earned run average his senior season ... ended his career ranked third in Illinois State's record books for career ERA (2.09), and as the career leader in wins (since broken) ... Huber signed as a free agent with the Chicago White Sox.
