Four-year gymnastics letterwinner ... captained the 1965 squad ... All-American in both the NCAA and NAIA in floor exercise, vaulting, tumbling and trampoline ... finished fifth in tumbling, ninth in free exercise and 13th in trampoline at the 1964 NCAA Championships ... NAIA National Champion in free exercise and tumbling in 1965 ... four-time conference champion in tumbling, three-time floor exercise champion, and named the most outstanding gymnast in the IIAS twice ... graduated in 1965 with a degree in mathematics ... head coach at Homewood-Flossmoor High School for eight years (70-25) ... coached Oklahoma's men's gymnastics for ten seasons (66-28) ... won back-to-back NCAA National Championships in 1977-78 and four conference titles.
