NORMAL, Ill. – Along with watching the Illinois State men's basketball team go for a sweep in this year's I-74 Rivalry Series, fans have extra incentives to cheer on the Redbirds versus Bradley, this Sunday, Feb. 14 at 3 p.m. on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena.
The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free pair of earmuffs courtesy of Sunday's game sponsor, Advocate BroMenn, and the first 400 students in attendance will receive a free bucket hat courtesy of Red Alert.
Fans will also be treated to a special halftime performance by the Alexandria Aces, a basketball performance team from Alexandria, Minnesota, consisting of boys and girls ages five through 12 years old, performing spectacular dribbling, juggling and amazing basketball spinning feats.
Additionally, there is still time to RSVP for the Redline Express Dance Clinic for kids ages four through 12 years old. For $20 per participant, the Redline Express Dance Clinic includes a game ticket (for the 3 p.m. Bradley at Illinois State men's basketball game), an in-game performance experience with the Redline Express Dance Team, Redbird pom-poms and Papa John's pizza.
The dance clinic runs from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. in Horton Field House, with check-in beginning at noon. Upper bowl tickets for $16 each will be available for family members of dance clinic participants to purchase. Advance registration for the Redline Express Dance Clinic is required by no later than this Friday, Feb. 12 at noon by calling the Redbird Athletics sales line at (309) 438-8000, extension two.
