WELCOME TO ILLINOIS STATE ATHLETICS' MOBILE TICKET INFO PAGE
Illinois State Athletics is in the process of a complete transition to mobile ticketing. On gamedays, fans can gain entry into each Illinois State Athletics venue by utilizing digital tickets from their mobile device, eliminating the need for a printed, physical ticket. The move to digital ticketing provides the safest, easiest, and most convenient option for access into all of Illinois State's ticketed facilities. This is the page to go to for your questions and information on the transition to digital. Please note: PDF tickets are no longer supported by our ticketing software. Tickets must be in a Wallet to scan.
On this page, there are FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions), Step-by-Step Instructions on adding your tickets to your Wallet, how to easily transfer tickets to anyone, and screenshots on how to best utilize your digital tickets.Â
Important note: Once you receive your tickets from the Ticket Office, please add them to your Wallet as soon as possible. This ensures correct information on your ticket in case of an update (game time, game date, etc.) as well as allowing easy access to your ticket at the gate. Often, phone/data service is interrupted near our facilities, which can prevent the downloading of your tickets. Please download them ahead of time to avoid any delays.

YOUR ACCOUNT - YOU ALWAYS HAVE YOUR TICKETS WITH YOU!
Perhaps the biggest advantage to digital tickets is that you never have to worry about "leaving your tickets at home" or "bringing the wrong tickets to the game" ever again! As long as you remembered your mobile device, you can access all of your tickets, all of the time!
If you added them to your Wallet (Apple or Android), they'll always be there!
If you didn't add them to your Wallet and can't find your delivery email, go to GoRedbirds.com/Tickets to login to your account, and your tickets are listed there. You can add them to your Wallet, transfer them to family/friends, or sell them on SeatGeek instantly!

DIGITAL TICKETING FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Why use digital tickets?
- Save money!
- Avoid waiting in Will Call lines to pick up your tickets.
- Prevent your tickets from getting lost in the mail, washed with the laundry, or eaten by the dog.
- No need to print your tickets! Simply present your smartphone with digital tickets at the gate.
- Prevent possible fraud of printed PDF tickets.
Q: How do digital tickets work?
- For Wallet, you will receive one email with a link for each ticket ordered along with one digital ticket per event. (For example, if you purchased four tickets, you need to click the icon "Add to Apple Wallet" on all four tickets.)
- The ticket that is emailed to you is a valid ticket. Make sure you protect it like you would any other ticket. Each ticket contains a unique code that is scanned at the event. If any copies are made of the ticket, only the first scan will be allowed entry. If a unique code has already been scanned, the attendant will be alerted and entry will not be permitted.
- PLEASE NOTE: PDF tickets are no longer supported. Tickets must be in a Wallet to scan.
- For instructions on adding tickets to your Wallet from the delivery email, please click here.
- For instructions on adding tickets to your Wallet from My Account, please click here.
Q: When will my tickets be available?
- Tickets will be available to download no later than 48 hours before your event. Once tickets are available, you will be able to access them from an email or text from our office, or by logging in to My Account from your mobile phone.
- PLEASE NOTE: Mobile tickets are only accessible on your mobile phone. Mobile passes will not open or be visible on desktops, laptops, iPads, etc. PDF tickets are no longer supported. Tickets must be in a Wallet to scan.
Q: What software or hardware do I need?
- Digital tickets may be used on any type of smartphone with a digital ticket viewer (such as Apple, Android, Windows, Blackberry, etc.)
- Wallet files may only be used on Apple iPhones with the Wallet app. Wallet comes pre-installed as an App from Apple in operating system iOS 6. Wallet is only available on iPhone devices running iOS 6 or later. iPhone 5 comes with iOS 6 pre-installed, whereas iPhone 3GS devices or later can be upgraded to iOS 6.Â
- Please note: iPads DO NOT support Wallet regardless of iOS versions.
Q: Why haven't I received my digital tickets?
- Make sure you have used the correct email address.
- Check your junk mail folder.
- Make sure that your spam guard and junk mail settings allow you to receive emails with attachments and links.
- Be sure to add our email address, tickets@ilstu.edu, to your list of trusted email addresses.Â
- Please allow at least one hour for your emails to arrive.
- All ticket delivery emails will come from our email address, tickets@ilstu.edu, and will have a subject line reading "Your Illinois State Mobile Tickets Have Arrived!"
Q: What if I am having trouble getting internet access when I try to scan my mobile tickets?
- Downloading your tickets ahead of time to your Apple or Google Wallets will make it so that internet access is not necessary when you arrive at the event. We very strongly recommend downloading your tickets before you leave for the venue, as high numbers of people can affect cell phone signal. Once your tickets are downloaded, you will be able to pull them up at any time as long as your phone has battery life.
Q: Can I print off the QR code?
- No. Printed QR codes will not scan at Illinois State Athletics events. If you print it off you will be redirected to the Illinois State Ticket Office for a new ticket.
Q: Who do I contact if I still need assistance?
- Please contact the Illinois State Athletics Ticket Office, Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM CST at 309-438-8000 or by email at tickets@ilstu.edu for further assistance.
