How do I get tickets for the game?
The best way to order tickets is online at GoRedbirds.com/tickets or by calling the Illinois State Ticket Office at 309-438-8000.
Football FAQ
Where is will call?
Public and media will call is located at the ticket office on the East side of Hancock Stadium (facing Main Street), just outside of Gate 8. Tickets for recruits are located at Gate 9 of Hancock Stadium, to the South of the East ticket windows. Home and visiting team pass list troubleshooting will be located within the ticket office located on the East side of Hancock Stadium. Student-athletes will need to enter at Gate 4 (Northwest side of the stadium).
What is the difference between reserved seating and general admission?
Reserved seating is when the customer has an exact section, row, and seat number. Reserved seating is available in sections 101-108.
General Admission seating is when you can sit anywhere within a section(s) (no assigned seat) and location is determined on a first-come, first-served basis. General Admission seating is available in sections 121-123.
The student section is also general admission. Student sections are 124-126. A specific section of 126 will be reserved for the Big Red Marching Machine.
Where is the visiting team seating located?
The visiting team guests will be placed in our general admission section 121.
When does the ticket office open on game day?
The main ticket office on the East side of Hancock Stadium will open 3 hours prior to kickoff. The ticket offices at Gate 1 and Gate 4 on the Horton Field House side of the stadium will open 2 hours prior to kickoff. ISU player guest troubleshooting and recruit ticket pick up gates will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Student-athlete and visiting team ticket pick up gates will open 60 minutes prior to kickoff. The ticket office at CEFCU Arena is not staffed on Football game days.
How can I get in the stadium?
Gates to Hancock Stadium open 60 minutes prior to the game, and fans may enter at any gate where ushers are loicated. The East Gate is located on the east-side grandstand on either side of the ticket office. On the west-side grandstand, Gate 1 is located at the south entrance and Gate 4 is located at the north entrance.
If someone lost or forgot his/her ticket(s), where does he/she need to go?
If a student lost his/her ticket, they will need to report to Gate 1. If a fan loses a ticket, they are able to report to Gate 4 or the East ticket office.
Football Parking/Tailgating FAQ
Where should I park?
Public single game parking is available in designated lots and is available for purchase on GoRedbirds.com/tickets. Parking passes can also be purchased the day of the event in designated lots, but is subject to availability. RV parking is available in Lot G81, located between Marian Kneer Softball Stadium and Adelaide Street Field and accessible from Adelaide St. Public single game parking lots are G53, G82, S81, North University Garage (NUG), F43, and U91. Lot G53 is located at the corner of Main St and College Ave and can be accessed from Kingsley St. Lots G82 and S81 are located to the North of the Tri-Towers, between Marian Kneer Softball Stadium and the Redbird Track & Field Complex, and can be accessed from Adelaide St and/or College Ave via Delaine Dr. North University Garage (NUG) is located between Bone Student Center and Hancock Stadium and can be accessed from W Locust St. Lot U91 is only available for Family Weekend football games, located to the West of Duffy Bass Field, and accessible from Adelaide St.
Lot F43 is sold day of game only and is located between Fairchild Hall and the Student Accounts Building at the corner of S Main St and Dry Grove St. Lot F43 can be accessed from S Main St.
Can I tailgate?
Tailgating is permitted in all donor and public lots on game day except in the North University Garage (NUG). Tailgating in the NUG is strictly prohibited. We encourage all of our fans to arrive early, wear red, and enjoy the game day atmosphere in a responsible manner by heeding posted rules and regulations. Glass bottles and kegs are prohibited. Please make sure to tailgate inside the red lines to allow for emergency vehicles to access the lot, respect all parking personnel, and dispose of charcoal in the appropriate receptacles located in each parking lot. Check the details of your parking pass for more information on tailgating rules and regulations.
When do lots open?
Lots open 5 hours before kickoff. Any unattended vehicles parked from midnight to 7 a.m. or in line leading to a parking lot are subject to ticketing or will be towed. All tailgating must end by the start of the game.
Men's Basketball FAQ
Where is will call?
Public will call is located at the North ticket office at the North Entrance of CEFCU Arena. ISU players' guests, coaches' guests, recruits, visiting team players' guests, high school teams, and student-athletes will be located inside the doors at the West entrance of CEFCU Arena.
How can I get accessible seating?
Accessible seating is available for any patron who is in need of accessible seating. Fans can either purchase available seating ahead of time on GoRedbirds.com/tickets or at the ticket windows on the day of the game and exchange said ticket for accessible seating at our customer service table located on the concourse by the North Entrance. The customer service table is open until tipoff, after which any patron who is in need of accessible seating can make their exchange at the North ticket office windows.
When does the ticket office open on game day?
The North ticket office will open 2 hours prior to tipoff at the North entrance of CEFCU Arena. The East, South, and West Entrances and respective ticket offices will open 1 hour prior to tipoff.
How can I get in the arena?
Gates to CEFCU Arena will open 60 minutes prior to tipoff and fans may enter at any of the four main entrances.
If someone lost or forgot his/her ticket(s), where does he/she need to go?
If a student/patron lost his/her ticket, please head to our North ticket office.
Men's Basketball Parking FAQ
Where should I park?
Public single game parking is available for $10 per vehicle in several lots near CEFCU Arena on game day. Public single game parking lots are G73, G83, and G81. Lot G73 is located directly in front of the East side of Hancock Stadium and can be accessed from S Main St. Lot G83 is located behind the Ropp Agriculture Building and can be accessed from the intersection of W Willow St and S Main St. Lot G81 is located between Marian Kneer Softball Stadium and Adelaide Street Field and can be accessed from Adelaide St. Additionally, complimentary parking is available at the Weibring Golf Course lot located on Gregory Street.
Volleyball & Women's Basketball FAQ
Where is will call?
Public will call is located at the North Entrance of CEFCU Arena. ISU players' guests, coaches' guests, recruits, visiting team players' guests, and high school teams will also be located at the North entrance, through the westernmost doors of that entrance.
Is there reserved seating?
All volleyball matches and women's basketball games are general admission seating. Fans can sit anywhere within the bowl seating at the arena.
How can I get Accessible seating?
Accessible seating is available for any patron who is in need of accessible seating. Fans can find a member of the event staff at any of the entrances to CEFCU Arena that will be able to escort or direct them to accessible seating areas.
When does the ticket office open on game day?
The ticket office opens at the North ticket windows 2 hours prior to game time.
How can I get in the arena?
Gates to CEFCU Arena will open 60 minutes prior to the game, and fans may enter at any entrance.
