NORMAL, Ill. – Coming off of last weekends Illinois-Classic, the Redbird gymnastics team is happy to bring it home against Bowling Green, Thursday March 10th at 7 p.m. in Redbird Arena.
Redbird Arena will offer free admission for friends, family, students and others who would like to come cheer on the Redbirds for their last home meet.
"We are excited to change the atmosphere for our last home meet by having it in Redbird Arena," head coach Bob Conkling said.
Thursday will also be senior night for our three seniors, Amanda Mohler, Sarah Fisher, and Danci Cha. Recognition for the three gymnasts will occur after the meet ends.
We would like to support the Redbird gymnastics with 'Pack the Arena' as they try to break the attendance record. As an incentive, one dollar hot dogs will be available during the meet.
"It will be nice to have senior night as our last home meet," Conkling said. "We look forward to competing against good competition like Bowling Green."
The Redbirds welcomes all gymnastics club members to its annual Pack The Arena meet, inside Redbird Arena. Fans are invited to attend an autograph session post meet with the Redbird gymnasts.
