Golanova Wins 3rd MVC Player of the Week Nomination

NORMAL, Ill. – This week Veronika Golanova claimed her third MVC player of the week Nomination after going 2-0 this weekend.

Golanova is currently 4-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference at the one singles position. She defeated:

Bradley's S. Maletin – 6-3, 6-3

Missouri State's A. Darter – 6-4, 6-4

Drake's S. Brills – 5-7, 6-3, 6-4

UNI's G. Kemper – 7-6, 6-4

Illinois State has one MVC match up left against Valparaiso, which will take place this weekend. Golanova currently sits 12-8 in singles, where she has consistently played in the one singles position.
