NORMAL, Ill. – This year's Redbird Rally will be held at Brix, a local restaurant in downtown Moline, when the Redbirds head to the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball Tournament, March 10-13.
The Rally will begin at 5 p.m. and conclude at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, shortly before the No. 7-seed Redbirds take on No. 10-seed Evansville at 7 p.m. at the iWireless Center in Moline.
The event is open to the public and free of charge. All ages are welcome. Complimentary appetizers and drinks will be served.
Brix is located at 425 15th Street in Moline. The program will include Illinois State University President Larry Dietz, an assistant women's basketball coach, former Moline-area high school and Illinois State standout Megan McCracken, Reggie Redbird, and performances by Illinois State's band and cheerleading team.
