NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State men's basketball team hosts Missouri Valley Conference preseason favorite Wichita State with several promotions scheduled for Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena.
The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a white bucket hat. At halftime, fans will be entertained by Steve Max, the master of Simon Sez.
Hosted by the Illinois State Alumni Association, prior to the game, the Redbird Rally at Horton Field House will feature several ISU traditions, including the Victory Bell and Battle Bird.
The $8 event registration cost includes a meal, dessert and nonalcoholic drinks. A cash bar will also be available. The Redbird Rally begins in Horton Field House at 5 p.m. and runs until 6:30 p.m., with a 7 p.m. tipoff versus Wichita State.
Additionally, Redbird Rally registrants have the opportunity to purchase upper bowl tickets for $10 and lower bowl tickets for $30. Each order will also include two tickets to the women's basketball game on Jan. 29 against Southern Illinois.

Reggie's Redline student shuttle bus services will be back up and running for the Wichita State game. Students can take the free shuttle bus to and from the game with stops at Hewett/Manchester and Watterson Residence Halls. The buses will start running at 5:30 p.m.
