NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State men's basketball team welcomes Bradley on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 9 p.m. on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena.
Redbird Athletics will be welcoming back and honoring the 1996-97 and 1997-98 Missouri Valley Conference championship teams. Both teams won the regular season and conference tournament titles. The 1997-98 team went on to upset Tennessee in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Current Head Coach Dan Muller was a key member of both teams.
Nationally renowned hand balancer Christian Stoinev will entertain fans with a halftime show. Stoinev is an Illinois State University graduate and a former member of the Gamma Phi Circus at ISU.
Illinois State University Student Government Association is providing 250 free tickets to students. To claim one of the free tickets, visit the Student Government offices in the Student Services Building 375, beginning Monday morning. The tickets will be distributed while supplies last to individuals with a current student ID.
Redbird Athletics is excited to also showcase the diverse Fraternity and Sorority Life on campus. Individual fraternity and sorority chapters will be designing and painting banners to hang in the lower bowl in support of the Redbirds.
