NORMAL, Ill. – Collin Braithwaite's temporary assignment to the Northwoods League's Fon du Lac Dock Spiders was a successful one.
The rising senior backstop for the Illinois State baseball team proved to be a valuable commodity for Fon du Lac in his limited time in the NWL. The native of Queen Creek, Arizona, batted a team-best .364 in his 12 games for Fon du Lac.
Braithwaite finished strong, too, with seven hits over his final three games for the Dock Spiders. In all, Braithwaite posted multi-hit games in exactly half (6-of-12) of his games in the NWL.
In his first season at Illinois State, Braithwaite slashed .239/.322/.417 with 18 extra-base hits, including six home runs, a total tied for the team lead. He also drove in 36 runs, second most on the team.

- Batting .280/.353/.347 with nine RBIs and nine stolen bases in 19 games at Springfield.
- Went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two stolen bases in a 15-8 loss to Terre Haute June 27.
Jacob Gilmore | Prospect League | Bancroft Bandits
- Currently 2-0 with a 2.79 ERA and 1.03 WHIP over 9.2 innings on the mound in the Prospect League.
- Tallied 15 strikeouts against just three walks to date.
Ryan Hutchinson | Northwoods League | Rockford Rivets
- Leads his team in walks (16) and runs scored (20); ranks second in stolen bases (8).
- Went 3-for-4 with a double and a walk versus Battle Creek June 25.
Jordan Libman | Ohio Valley League | DuBois County Bombers
- Slashing .273/.340/.432 in 10 games in the Ohio Valley League.
- Tallied three doubles and two triples to date.
Jeff Lindgren | Bismarck Larks | Northwoods League
- Owns a 1-0 record, three saves and a 1.45 ERA in 10 relief appearances.
- Picked up his third save by retiring all four batters he faced, with two strikeouts, in a 9-7 win at Mankato June 24.
John Rave | Rockford Rivets | Northwoods League
- Ranks sixth in the NWL with a .360 batting average and is tied for eighth with 32 total hits.
- Went 3-for-6 with a home run and a double in a 5-3 win at Madison June 20.
Noah Sadler | Bismarck Larks | Northwoods League
- Batting .274/.425/.387 with four doubles, eight RBIs and a team-high 16 walks.
- Doubled and walked in an 8-4 loss at Waterloo June 13.
Anthony Sanchez | Ohio Valley League | DuBois County Bombers
- Slashing .294/.455/.412 with three RBIs and seven runs scored in 10 games played.
- Drawn nine walks versus 10 strikeouts to date.
Jack Spicer | Prospect League | Bancroft Bandits
- Currently 0-1 with a 10.54 ERA over 13.2 innings on the mound.
- Ranks second on his team with 20 strikeouts.
