ANTWERP, Belgium – Former Illinois State men's basketball guard Paris Lee has signed a contract to play professionally in Belgium for the Port of Antwerp Giants, a team that competes in the Belgian League and FIBA Europe Cup.
Located in Antwerp, Belgium, the Port of Antwerp Giants play at the 5,218-seat Lotto Arena. Formed in 1995, the Port of Antwerp Giants have earned two Belgian Supercup titles (2007, 2016), two Belgian Cup titles (2000, 2007) and one Belgian Championship title (2000). 
The 2017 Missouri Valley Conference Larry Bird Player of the Year and MVC Defensive Player of the Year, Lee was also an AP All-America Honorable Mention selection. He led the MVC and ranked 50th nationally with 1.9 steals and 5.0 assists per game.
Lee finished his senior season as the nation's active career steals leader and ISU program-record holder, with 248 steals. He also ranks fourth in ISU career assists, with 495. As a senior, Lee started all 35 games to set the program starts record (132) and ranks 21st on ISU's career scoring list, with 1,268 points. Lee is the second player in Redbird history to earn 1,000 points, 400 assists and 200 steals.
Along with his player of the year accolades, Lee was also an All-MVC First Team selection, an MVC All-Defensive Team selection and an MVC All-Tournament Team selection. Additionally, Lee garnered All-National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) District 16 First Team accolades while helping lead Illinois State to a share of the 2016-17 Missouri Valley Conference regular-season title.
