NORMAL, Ill. – This year's Illinois State women's basketball Redbird Rally will be held at The Union at 525, a local bar/restaurant in downtown Moline, when the Redbirds head to the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball Tournament, March 8-11.
The time and date is to be determined following the announcement of the tournament bracket on Monday, March 5th. All Illinois State fans and alumni are invited and encouraged to attend the rally, which is free of charge for all ages. Hors d'oeuvre and drinks will be provided. The Union at 525, is located at 525 14th Street in Moline.
Three Illinois State legends will also be recognized on Friday, March 9 at the Missouri Valley Conference Women's 25th Celebration Brunch. Jill Hutchison, Linda Herman and Kristi Cirone will be guests of honor for their impressive accomplishments as the Valley celebrates the 25th anniversary of women's sports in the league.
The Brunch will take place at the TaxSlayer Conference Center in Moline, Illinois with breakfast scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Tickets for the brunch are $25 per person and can be purchased through Beth Harding.

All-session tournament tickets for all Hoops in the Heartland games are on sale for $40. All-Session Tournament tickets purchased through the Illinois State Athletics ticket office will be located in the Illinois State section. The tickets can be purchased by visiting the Illinois State Athletics ticket office in Redbird Arena, or secured online via GoRedbirds.com/tickets.
