NORMAL, Ill. – ISU's women's tennis team heads into this weekend playing a double header on Saturday against Missouri – St. Louis at 12 p.m. and Western Illinois at 6 p.m. Both matches will be held at the Bloomington Tennis Center in Bloomington, Illinois.
After the conclusion of this weekend's matches the Redbirds will be on the road for five away matches against: DePauw University, Wright State, Dayton, UMKC and Nebraska. The team will return home after two weeks on the road for a match up against Butler on March 10.
Last week's Missouri Valley Conference doubles team of the week, Veronika Golanova and Jelena Karla Vujicic have consecutively won three matches at one doubles. The duo also holds a 4-1 record so far, this season. Number six singles Laura Fitzgerald, also holds the same 4-1 record, her only loss being Northern Illinois. ISU is currently 4-1 in the 2018 dual season after defeating Northern Illinois 5-2 last weekend.
