Hobson clutched two singles victories taking second in Flight 7 Sunday. In the fourth round Hobson finished off Bradley's Trevor McGrath, 6-0, 6-0. He went on to defeat John Brough (Wisconsin-Green Bay), 6-1, 6-2, in the final round. Hobson ended the weekend with a 3-1 record.
LeMoine fell to Adam Reeb of St. Louis in the final round of Flight 8 singles, 6-7, 3-6, obtaining a 2-1 record.
"Overall, we weren't as fired up as we needed to be," said James. "This was the first tournament of the year for the guys. We needed to see where we stood and what we needed to work on."
