Tickets are still available for the Sept. 17 Illinois State football luncheon, featuring head football coach Denver Johnson, hosted by Redbird Athletics, the Bloomington-Normal Rotary Clubs and the DoubleTree Hotel in Bloomington, Ill.
The luncheon will begin at noon, with the doors opening at 11:30 a.m., and all profits will be donated to the Polio Eradication matching grants campaign, sponsored by Bill and Linda Gates, who will match the total contribution. A meal and drink will be provided with the price of admission.
Tickets, which are $15 per seat, are available for purchase at the Redbird Arena Ticket Office (309/438-8000). Tables, which seat 10 individuals, are also available to purchase for $125. Each patron must have a ticket to be admitted.
Kurt Pegler, WMBD's Sports Director, will emcee the event.
Seating is limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline to order tickets is Sept. 15.
