NORMAL, Ill. - Dean Karnazes, the man who ran 50 marathons in 50 states in 50-consecutive days, will speak at Braden Auditorium in the Bone Student Center Monday, October 11, at 7:30 p.m. The event, which is sponsored by Illinois State Athletics, the Bone Student Center and Fell Trust, is free to the public and doors will open at 7 p.m.
Karnazes gained international fame by running 50 marathons in all 50 states in 50-consecutive days. He has written two books, Ultramarathon Man and 50/50, which have achieve New York Times Besteller status.
