Friday's Illinois State baseball game at Southeast Missouri State has been canceled because of wet field conditions. The Redbirds and Redhawks will play a regularly-scheduled doubleheader Saturday at 12 p.m.
Friday's game, which was originally scheduled to begin at 3 p.m., was canceled after severe thunderstorms dumped heavy rain across Cape Girardeau Friday morning. Saturday's doubleheader will feature Illinois State's Chris Razo (0-1) against SEMO's Christian's Hull (1-0) in game one, and Brad Sorkin (1-1) versus Shae Simmons (0-1) in game two. Both will be broadcast on WHOW 1520 AM/92.3 FM and on GoRedbirds.com and WJBC.com.
