Red Alert Selects 2012-13 T-Shirt Design

NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State Athletics Department allowed students to decide next year's official Red Alert T-shirt design through online voting and the public has spoken, selecting design No. 2 featuring the "Hardly Normal" slogan.

Illinois State students had three options to choose from for next year's official Red Alert T-shirt. The vote was conducted on the Red Alert's official group page on Facebook. After a week of voting, the 2012-13 design was chosen and Red Alert members will be able to wear their newly-selected apparel at Redbird sporting events next year.

"It was great to see all of the student participation involved with this vote," Coordinator of Fan Experience Peter Brandstatter said. "We wanted them to have a say in what they will be wearing next year and we were pleased with the choice they made. We're excited for the shirts to be displayed at all of our events next year and we look forward to next season."

Red Alert is one of the largest student organizations on campus and is aimed at increasing ISU pride, spirit, tradition and energy at Illinois State athletic events. In addition, this group participates in community services and social activities throughout the school year.

For just $40, students receive first priority of student tickets available or admission into regular season home athletic events, an free official Red Alert T-shirt, access to the Red Alert rewards program and much more!
