NORMAL, Ill. – Waking up early can be a little difficult on the weekend, so the Illinois State volleyball team decided to give Redbird fans a little added incentive this weekend. Join the ISU volleyball coaching staff on the Redbird Arena concourse near the North entrance, Saturday, September 1, at 9 a.m., for coffee and doughnuts before the start of day-two at the Country Financial Redbird Classic against Miami (Fla.) at 10 a.m.
Complimentary Denny’s Doughnuts and coffee will be provided for fans in attendance courtesy of Illinois State Athletics. Fans are encouraged to come out and mingle with fellow fans and the Redbird coaching staff before settling in for the start of ISU’s 10 a.m. match.
Following the match, Redbird football returns to Hancock Stadium for its home and season opener against the Dayton Flyers. Kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. Fans who attend the football game will receive free admission to ISU’s final match of the Country Financial Redbird Classic at 7 p.m. against Oregon State, if they provide their ticket upon entrance to Redbird Arena.
