#BirdsAbroad Terrion Moore's Travel Log: Monday, Aug. 12

The Illinois State women's basketball program is on an 11-day foreign trip (Aug. 6-16) exploring Italy. Follow the Redbirds on social media (#BirdsAbroad) and with a daily travel log on goredbrids.com. Today's blog entry post is brought to you by Advocate BroMenn Medical Center.

Monday, August 12
9 a.m. – Before we took off for Mestre a lot of people went shopping in Florence. Plenty of us got gelato in between shopping.

11 a.m. – For lunch I had a burrito with spicy chicken, some veggies, and some type of hot sauce that was awesome!

1 p.m. – We got on the bus and started off for Mestre and on our way, we saw a lot of beautiful mountains out the windows of the bus.

6:30 p.m. – My favorite part of the day was when we got to Mestre and ate at our wonderful restaurant. It played a lot of good music and the food was really good. I had a small rotisserie chicken with fries and some veggies and it was delicious.
