NORMAL, Ill. – Senior defensive back Deandre Lamont has partnered with the Sisters Network Inc. to donate all proceeds from his Believe The Hype brand's pink socks during Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Lamont's grandmother and aunt both beat breast cancer with his aunt receiving support through the Sisters Network Inc.
The Sisters Network Inc. is a national African American breast cancer survivorship organization and is committed to increasing local and national attention to the devastating impact that breast cancer has in the African American community.
Since the launch of the vISUalize program on July 11, Illinois State student-athletes have been taking full advantage of the program and name, image and likeness opportunities. The NIL staff continues to meet with teams, coaches and individual student-athletes to help equip them as they navigate the NIL space.
