Joe’s Station House to Host Illinois State Men's Basketball Coaches Show Tonight

NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State Basketball Coaches Shows, featuring Illinois State interim head men's basketball coach Brian Jones will air tonight live from Joe's Station House Pizza Pub in Normal. Fans unable to attend the show can listen live on WJBC 1230-AM or on GoRedbirds.com, as Jones recaps last week's Missouri Valley Conference action and preview upcoming MVC Tournament match ups.

The men's basketball coaches show starts at 7 p.m. and is hosted by Dick Luedke and Mike Matthews. Jones will be joined by redshirt senior guard Josiah Strong. Strong averages 11.5 points per game this season, and has made 80 three-point baskets in 31 games played - tied for the most in the MVC during the regular season - converting on 41.7 percent of his long-range tries, which is fourth-best in the MVC. Illinois State opens up play in the 2022 State Farm MVC Championships on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. as the team faces off against the Indiana State Sycamores - a team they defeated 86-66 on Saturday.

The Kristen Gillespie Show, hosted by Greg Halbleib, is off this week, and will return next week for their pre-MVC Tournament show.

Fans are invited to watch Monday's shows live at the Joe's Station House Pizza Pub, located at the Shoppes at College Hills at 305 Veterans Pkwy in Normal. However, for those unable to attend the show in person, it will be broadcast live on WJBC 1230-AM and on GoRedbirds.com.
