NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State softball has announced its promotional schedule for home games played at Marian Kneer Stadium during the 2023 season.
The Redbirds will be home next on Apr. 1-2 for their first home Missouri Valley Conference series against the UIC Flames (0-28, 0-6 MVC).Â
YEAR-ROUND PROMOTIONS
These are season long promotions Redbird Softball will have at ALL home weekend series. Dates, times and promotions are all subject to change.
Saturday – BINGO!
- All fans can play bingo between innings for a chance to win prizes.
Sunday – Run the bases with Reggie!
- Kids aged 6th grade or below are invited down to the field post-game to run the bases with Reggie Redbird.

UIC Series (Apr. 1 – 2)
- Saturday, April 1 @ 4 p.m. CT
- Student Spring Cleaning Giveaway – Students get a free Illinois State t-shirt while supplies last.
- Sunday, April 2 @ 1 p.m. CT (DH)
- Reggie's Kids Club Day – All kids will receive a Redbird pompom while supplies last.
Missouri State Series (Apr. 7 – 9)
- Saturday, April 8 @ 2 p.m. CT
- Fan Egg Hunt – Eggs will be filled with Illinois State prizes.
- Sunday, April 9 @ 12 p.m. CT
- Military Appreciation Day
UNI Series (Apr. 21 – 23)
- Friday, April 21 @ 5 p.m. CT
- Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night
- Pack the Park
- Avanti's Sandwich Giveaway – All fans will receive free a Avanti's sandwich while supplies last.
- Sunday, April 23 @ 12 p.m. CT
Southern Illinois Series (May 5 – 7)
- Sunday, May 7 @ 12 p.m. CT
- Senior Day – Senior Day ceremony will occur after the game. Â
