History at the Event: This season's tournament is the third time this event has been hosted in the spring - and ISU's first appearance in the event; however, the Redbirds have played many times at the course now named the Pfau Course.

Last Time Out: Using strong play from its top three golfers over the final round, the Illinois State men's golf team placed eighth at the 2023 Craft Farms Intercollegiate on Monday afternoon. Valentin Peugnet finished a stroke under par with a 71 – the team's second under-par round of the tournament – while Parker Wisdom finished at even par and Pietro Pontiggia two shots over par.
