CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Fresh off the Linda Herman Volleyball Classic, Illinois State volleyball will travel to take on in-state foe Illinois in a non-conference affair Tuesday night in Champaign.
The match starts at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on B1G+. Tuesday's match is Illinois State's lone non-conference match not connected to a weekend tournament.

1-2 AT HOME
Illinois State opened the 2024 season at home for the first time since 2009, finishing 1-2 on the weekend versus Central Michigan, Bellarmine, and Lindenwood.
Since 2009, ISU is 141-65 at home, with 11 seasons of a .500 record or better.
RENEWING AN IN-STATE MATCHUP
Illinois State travels to Illinois' Huff Hall for the second straight season in 2024, one season after dropping a four-set match to the Fighting Illini in front of nearly 3,000 fans.
The 'Birds have not won in Huff Hall since 10/17/84 (lost 11-straight).
UNDER THE LIGHTS OF CEFCU
Illinois State saw nine athletes make their CEFCU Arena debut during the Linda Herman Volleyball Classic, including all six true freshman.
Junior Colleen Hege, graduate student Maggie McCrary, and senior Mekaila Aupiu also made their ISU debut over the weekend.
PRESEASON LOVE FOR ISU
In the 2024 MVC preseason poll, Illinois State was picked fourth and received one first-place vote.Â
Junior Aida Shadewald was named to the seven-member Preseason All-MVC team alongside student-athletes of Evansville, UNI, Murray State, Drake, and UIC.
