2006: The 2006 Illinois State Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year...Made
the switch from situational defensive specialist to starting outside hitter mid-way through
the season...had 257 digs (2.73 dpg)...recorded 13 double-digit dig efforts, including 10
of Illinois State's final 11 matches...had a career-high 28 digs in the Redbirds' first win
at Wichita State (Nov. 17) since 2001...After collecting just four kills in her first four
years, had 50 kills on the season...recorded 11 kills in her first start at outside hitter
(Oct. 17 at Valparaiso)...tallied a perfect 1.000 reception percentage in 19 individual
matches...recorded the first four blocks of her career.
2005: Collected eight or more digs in 14 matches ... just three
reception errors in the final 23 matches (76 games) of the season ... double-figure digs
five times: 11 vs. Notre Dame (10/17), 10 each at Creighton (10/21), at Northern Illinois
(10/25), at Bradley (11/4) and vs. No. 23 Wichita State (11/25).
2004: Put down her only kill of the season to give ISU the lead in game
two of a win over Missouri State (11/6) ... had double-figure digs 11 times--eight times in
final 10 matches--including 18 in win over Missouri State (11/6), 19 vs. Creighton (11/26)
and 20 at Notre Dame (10/13) ... with 97 digs in 26 games, averaged 3.73 digs per game
during ISU's six wins in its final seven matches.
2003: Kelly Meisner Courage Award winner ... collected 29 digs in her
first 31 games (0.94), then 130 digs in her next 68 games (1.91 per game) ... had
double-figure digs in five matches ... had her first two career service aces at No. 6
Northern Iowa (9/21).
2002: Missed entire season recovering from broken leg suffered in
summer softball mishap.
High School: Two-time second-team all-stater, three-time all-area
choice and three-year starter for Providence teams which went a combined 99-18 ... 2001
team set school record with 37 wins ... led team in digs and serve receive percentage ...
prep coach was Nan Airola ... played club volleyball for Celtic Force coached by Gloria
Coughlin.
