At Brookswood Secondary: A member of the Brookswood Secondary team that were the boys high school champions his junior and senior season ... won the hammer at the high school championships his junior and senior seasons ... finished second in the shot put at the high school championships his junior season ... recorded a personal-best throw of 214-44 in the hammer throw and 52-79 in the shot put.
