Indoor: At the EIU Early Bird captured second place in the high jump with a mark of 1.89m (6-02.25)…at the Terre Haute recorded a mark of 2.05m (6-08.25)…leaped a mark of 1.93m (6-04.00) at the EIU John Craft Invite…at the Illinois Orange and Blue Open earned a mark of 1.93m (6-04.00) placing fifth overall…at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships recorded a mark of 1.87m (6-01.50).

Outdoor: Captured first-place at the Illinois Twilight in the high jump with a mark of 2.04m (6-08.25)…earned a mark of 1.90m (6-02.75) at the Lee Calhoun Invite…earned third place at the Lenny Lyles with a mark of 1.88m (6-02)…competed in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships and earned a mark of 1.88m (6-02).

PRIOR TO ISU

LaSalle-Peru Township High School: Four-year letterwniner in track and field … two-year letterwinner in football and one-year letterwinner in basketball … named the News Tribune Track and Field Athlete of the Year as a senior … tied the high jump school record at 6-09 … won all but two high jump competitions as a senior … indoor and outdoor state champion in the high jump as a senior, as well as conference and sectional champion … received the most athletic senior award given by LaSalle-Peru … as a junior, notched a third-place finish at indoor state and a conference championship in the high jump … set both the sophomore and freshman high jump records … four-time state qualifier … helped his team to a conference championship in basketball as a junior … grabbed three interceptions (most on the team) his junior season … second most tackles on team and most touchdowns scored in 2013 … named to the All-Conference, All-State and All-Area football team as a senior … National Honors Society member … top-10 percent of graduating class … seven-semester high honor roll qualifier.
