Competed in seven meets for the Redbirds...Churned out a pair of fourth-place finishes in the 100 (1:09.17) and 200 (2:32.49) Breaststroke vs Northern Iowa Jan. 14-15...Set four season bests at the Purdue Invitational Nov. 18-20...Finished fifth with a 1:10.23 in the 100 Breaststroke vs McKendree and Maryville Oct. 30, which marked a season-best at the time.

Freshman Year (2020-21)

Competed in four meets for the Redbirds … Turned a pair of top-10 finishes, including a third-place performance in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.44) in her collegiate debut against Valpo … Posted a trio of season-best performances at the MVC Championships in the 50-yard freestyle (31.36), 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.51) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:29.42).

Background: Four-year member of Olympus High School’s swim team … Served as a team captain for her high school and club teams … Holds her high school records in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200 medley relay … Nominated for the Utah Female Athlete of the Year during the 2018-19 season … Helped her team to a top-5 finish at the Utah state championships during her junior year.

Personal: Daughter of Russel and Marci Simons … Born on May 6 in West Jordan, Utah … Has two younger siblings, Bryton and Thyse … Her cousin, Trey Dye, and uncle, James Dye, both played Division I football at BYU … Plans to major in mathematics while attending ISU.
