Yorkville HS: Two-year starter for head coach Dan McGuire … earned all-conference honors and was named offensive MVP as a senior … selected as a team captain … helped lead team to a conference championship and to the IHSA state playoffs in final prep campaign … helped team to the playoffs as a junior as well. 

Personal: Son of Ken and Susan Gettemy … youngest of three siblings … his brother, Kyle, played football at Michigan Tech and his uncle, Brian Green, played basketball at Illinois Wesleyan … member of the honor roll and selected as an academic all-conference and all-state selection.
