Providence HS: Played three seasons for head coaches Tyler Plantz and Mark Coglianese … missed senior season due to injury … started every game and played nearly every defensive snap at defensive end or defensive tackle as a junior … helped team to a runner-up finish in the IHSA Class 4A playoffs.

Personal: Son of Jim and Nancy Bochenczak … youngest of four siblings … his father, Jim, played football at Elmhurst College and his cousin, Sarah Bailitz, played softball at Dayton … member of the honor roll every semester in high school.
