Emelia Edmondson was hired as Director of Events & Facilities in May 2024. Edmondson began her time with Illinois State Athletics in July of 2022 as a Graduate Assistant in Game Operations.

Prior to Illinois State, Edmondson attended Lake Forest College where she most recently served as an Athletics Administration Intern for the LFC Athletics Department. She has previously interned with the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club, Northwestern University's Athletics Department, and the Wisconsin Woodchucks Baseball Club. Edmondson was also a member of the Lake Forest College NCAA women's hockey team.

Edmondson, a Wausau, Wis. native, graduated from Lake Forest College in May of 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Business with a Marketing Concentration, and a minor in English. She is pursuing a master's in Sport Management within the Kinesiology and Recreation program and is set to graduate in May of 2024.
