After scoring her first two goals of the season in a 5-0 win over Drury, Illinois States Ty Winkelhake was selected Missouri Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Winkelhake (pronounced WINK-ul-HOCK-ee), a sophomore from Schaumburg, made her first two goals of the season count, helping the Redbirds break the game open to go 3-1 in the Valley, 10-3 overall.
She came off the bench against Drury, scoring two goals on just five shots attempted. The Redbirds, in second place in the Valley, play Friday at Creighton and host Northern Iowa on Sunday at Adelaide Street Field.
