Illinois State will host Belmont, Sunday, in the first-round of the Missouri Valley Conference post-season soccer tournament. The game is noon Sunday (Oct. 29) at Adelaide Street Field.
Illinois State, which is 6-0 at home this season, is the tournament's second seed. The Redbirds are 13-3 overall and were 6-1 in regular season MVC play. ISU will take a seven-match winning streak into the contest.
Belmont, an associate MVC member for women's soccer, is 6-14 on the campaign and finished 1-6 in league competition.
Earlier this season, Illinois State defeated Belmont at Nashville, Tenn., 2-0.
