Tarise Bryson scored 14 of his game-high 23 points in the second half to lead the Red squad to a 47-33 victory in the Red/White Scrimmage at Redbird Arena, Saturday.
The inside-outside combo of Bryson and Shedrick Ford proved to be too much to handle as the Red squad broke open a 20-20 tie at the half with a 27-13 advantage in the second frame. Bryson connected on two three-pointers and Ford dominated the post with 15 points to key the victory.
Jason Hammock added five points for the Red squad and Dirk Williams Chipped in with two.
Traves Wilson led the White squad with 15 points and Cedric Knight added eight points. Rich Beyers and Randy Rice tallied four points each while Shawn Jeppson and Chad Mazanowski added two apiece for the White squad.
The Redbirds open the exhibition season when they host the California All-Stars at Redbird Arena on November 9.
