Rickey Garrett, the all-time leading receiver in Illinois State history, has signed a free agent contract with the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.
Terms of the deal were not available.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Garrett holds every receiving mark at ISU, including career bests in receptions (162), yards (2,558) and touchdowns (22). He was an Associated Press Third-Team All-American following his junior campaign.
Garrett, a native of Centralia, Ill., is the second Redbird to sign a free agent contract this spring. Defensive tackle Damian Gregory inked earlier with the Miami Dolphins.
