We had just an incredible meet, head coach Jeff Pigg said. The guys worked together. There was a real step up in maturity and team development today. It was awesome that six of our guys finished in the top ten, and very exciting to come here running well and beat Illinois.
Meanwhile, the womens team showed improvement over last weekend as each runner beat her previous time.
Egle Kregzdyte led the way with a run of 18:32.21, good for 19th.
Every girl ran faster today than they did last weekend, Pigg said. Theyve made lots of progress this week. Its nice to see them improving this way.
