Juhl Named MVC Athlete of the Week

Lars Juhl of the Illinois State men's cross country team has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Athlete of the Week following a first-place performance at the Illinois Invitational last Friday. Juhl, a senior hailing from Krusaa, Denmark, finished the Illinois course in 25:00.05, 23 hundredths of a second ahead of Redbird teammates Mark Reed, Christian Goy and Peter Madsen. Juhl dropped 28 seconds off of his previous run of 25:28.31 at the Bradley Open.
