The doubles team of Albert Piasecki and Brent Steven, along with singles player Yew Ming Si have advanced into Saturdays quarter-final rounds of the Ball State Invitational Tennis Tournament.
Piasecki and Steven advanced by winning their first two matches in Fridays competition.
Yew Ming Si bounced back from a tiebreaker Brent McCombe 6-7 (4), 6-3, 6-4, then he defeated Chris Varga 6-4, 6-2 to move into the semi-finals.
Ricky Heath enjoyed a victory against Peter Voelz 6-1, 6-2, but fell to a come-from-behind win by Andrew Seni in the second round of Group A Singles 2-6, 6-4, 6-3.
Jason Smit is still alive in Singles Group A consolation bracket. After a loss Dipesh Rao in three sets, Smit bounced back to beat Jason Pressel 6-4, 6-3.
Play continues Saturday in all groups.
