The Illinois State womens golf team remains in 16th place at the Lady Northern after the second round of play with a two-day score of 656 (335-321).
Jill Rachford shot a 77 in the second round giving her a two-day score of 158 to lead the Birds in 26th place, an improvement from Fridays 35th place. Nicole Foy also fired a 77 in second round play today and is currently in 36th place with a combined score of 159 (82-77).
Kim Pokarney follows with a combined score of 170 (88-82) landing her at 84th place, while Becky Brtva is one stroke behind Pokarney with a two-day score of 171 (86-85), placing her in the 87th slot.
Host school Minnesota remains in fourth place with a score of 614 (312-302). Ohio State took the first place lead today over Purdue with a score of 298, giving them a two-day total of 608.
The Redbirds continue play tomorrow with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start to complete the third and final round.
