With one doubles victory on Saturday, Ciaran Foley and Ricky Heath advanced to the quarterfinals of the doubles main draw at the ITA Region V Championship in Wichita, Kansas.
In the second round of the doubles main draw, Foley and Heath defeated Nelson/Minoda of UMKC (8-1) to advance to the quarterfinals. However, in the quarterfinals they were eliminated by OConnell/Mihalovic of Indiana State (8-5).
In the singles main draw, Heath was eliminated in the third round by Maciej Dilaj of Colorado (7-6(8), 6-1).
In the singles back draw, both Jason Smit and Brent Steven were eliminated in the second round. Smit was defeated by Sean Monk of Tulsa (9-7) and Steven was defeated by Jose Hernan of Nebraska (9-7).
