Ashlie Rose, a Martinville, Ind. native, has signed a National Letter of Intent this week to play golf and continue her educational career at Illinois State University.
Rose comes from a long storied tradition at Martinsville High School. Rose was on varsity all four years of her golf career while helping lead the team to three straight titles and a second place finish in the state this year. Head coach
Ray Kralis looks for Rose to come right in and make a smooth transition.
I look for Ashlie to have an immediate impact on our program because her experience on both the state and national level has prepared her for a smooth transition to Division I golf, said Kralis. I look forward to her contributions as this team continues to raise the level of play as she is a proven winner in both team and individual competitions.
Roses academic prowess is equally as impressive as her athletic ability, which is also very important to Kralis.
I feel Ashlie is the total package as a student athlete, said Kralis. She is among the top in her class academically and athletically.
