Tiffany Dudley finished sixth in the 100 yard Backstroke as the Illinois State swimming and diving team holds the eighth place position with a score of 127 at the end of the second day of the 2001 National Independent Conference.
Dudley was also a member of the 200 yard Medley Relay team that took fifth place, with a time of 1:49.10. Along with Dudley the relay team consisted of Deborah Birrer, Brittany Erickson and Lindsay Crowder.
Crowder was also apart of the 800 yard Freestyle Relay team that took sixth place with a time of 7:52.01. Joining Crowder in the 800 yard Freestyle Relay were teammates Heather Norris, MaryAnne Cooper and Nicole DuCharme. DuCharme also had an 11th place finish in the 200 yard Freestyle Relay (1:56.15) to further help the Redbirds.
Tomorrow on the last day of the tournament six events will be swam including the 100 yard Freestyle in which Lindsay Crowder finished in second place at last weeks Missouri Valley Conference Championships, and also the 200 yard Butterfly in which Diana Cirstea finished sixth at last weekends tournament.
