Firing a three-over-par 75 in the final round of the Illini Spring Classic, senior
Nicole Foy took top honors for the tournament as the Redbirds finished in a tie for fifth with Bradley in the team standings.
Foys score of 75 was added to her first round score of 76 for a total of 151, one stroke ahead of Southwest Missouris Jessica Polus.
The next Redbird finisher was junior Jill Rachford, who tied for 31st with a total of 164 (81, 83). Rachford was followed by Sara Prack, who shot 166 for the weekend (84, 82).
Freshman Albiona Zhubi shot 87 on the day for an overall score of 169 (82, 87) in a tie for 45th while Normal native Becky Brtva finished in a tie for 66th with 177 (84, 93).
The Redbirds return to the links in Omaha, Neb. on April 23-25 at the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.
