Tickets are now on sale for the annual Illinois State Senior Student-Athlete Banquet, sponsored by the Varsity-I Club.
The event will be held May 2, 7-8:30 p.m., in the Old Main Room of the Bone Student Center. Each senior student-athlete exhausting eligibility during this school year will be recognized.
The guest speaker will be Craig Bouchard, a 1975 graduate and baseball letterwinner, who is currently the CEO of Numerix, a financial services corporation. There will also be comments from athletics director Perk Weisenburger and Varsity I president Rick Percy, Jr.
The banquet is open to the public. Tickets are available for $15 each by contacting Marsha Blair in the ISU Athletics Department at 309/438-3803. The deadline to reserve tickets is 4 p.m., April 27.
